Texting my guy tomorrow (yuge Texas dealer) to see what's up. If this is true then my 2 door order is good as cancelled. Yeah, wait till 2024 and pay retail, no thanks.

At this point I'll just sit it out and buy a Bronco in 3-4 years when they hit the used market and sell for 50% MSRP.

Off note, why can't I get a fucking soft top w/2d!!! I literally DROVE a soft top two door at Bronco off-roadeo and loved it. Ford, just sell it to me like that!!!

Can anyone take a stab at whether this would impact orders with a VIN and a (albeit moving) build week?

This thread should be locked or the OP edited, Chapman Ford is giving out false information, or at the very least misinterpreting info. Ford is still scheduling HT, Lux, and Sas.

This thread is at the top of the front page and the information in the OP from Chapman is inaccurate.

I have three boxes of stuff I ordered before Christmas that just showed up this week. Hope this is all just a bad rumor but given how badly Ford has managed the Bronco reservation/order process it's probably true. Some day the Bronco reservation/order process will be studied in school by marketing types for how not to roll out a new product line. There's simply no reason they couldn't have filled all of the reservations by now. I've seen several vehicles very close to my order but I'm not willing to pay $10K to $20K over the retail price. So I know it can be built.
ADM is dropping like a rock. You can find a good build at $3k over at most, MSRP is out there. Even on Badlands and Wildtrak hard tops. There's a 2 door white 2.7L 22 MIC lux Badlands still sitting on a lot near me.

With that said, MSRP on a 23 is still not a good deal for anyone with an original order who is now losing double price protection.

If true, this sucks for people who waited. I couldn't do without the hard top.

Sweet. So all 2-dr orders are getting punted to MY'24 unless they change to a Moar Door Covered Wagon. FML.
The latest numbers are now at 17% for 2 door order holders so again 2 door peeps get the shaft 🥺

These were the constraints mentioned in the Town & Country video the other day. The column that matters is on the far right. Hardtops were an issue but Sas and Lux wasn't too far from keeping up with demand.

Thanks for the education refresher. It makes sense if they want to limit hardtops and ask for customers to change to get built. Sounds like there is now huge imbalance of hard tops left in the order banks and production will really drop off if they do not expect the constraints to improve. 8.5 out of every 10 Bronco’s left to build are hard tops and they only have parts for 6.7 out of 10. Also, all of the other constraints they are asking to drop are in the red as well. In all appearance this constraint list applies to all the orders they have left before opening banks again or it could be for the year. What they have in orders vs what they have in parts. If your build # in line outside of the constraints you may get that notification. Just my thought. If that is the case if order banks open you would not be allowed to order any configuration that couldn’t be built. If this months production drops off it’s totally parts vs order mix related.

We don’t know that since we don’t know how many are in the Order Banks. I would assume they are part of the 85% mix in the order banks.

What the hell is this bullshit..... Is this true @flip?
There was supposed to be a broadcast Friday then they punted it to Tuesday. Bronco bad news dumps historically have happened on Fridays so for whatever reason decided to ruin a whole work week instead of just a weekend. It's supposed to include a Q&A but they usually only answer the softball questions and say they'll follow up on every one they get but I've only had that happen once out of may that I had asked.

Some dealers have reps that will drop intel shortly before a release but it isn't wide spread. I think it's higher ups in the system and larger dealers get early warning so they can have their staff prepped before it drops. Unfortunately, I don't have any specific information but based on a constraint chart from a couple weeks ago, I've got a feeling they're going to announce a list of new/continued constraints and hopefully confirm the order bank will stay closed at least through the summer. No sense of taking new business if you're still struggling with orders getting ready for their 3rd birthday.

My guess is the OP's quote from their dealer has some truth in there about constraints, which ones might be up for question as well as order changes. Several things align that give this some cred, the constraint list, order bank meeting, lack of overall scheduling, vehicles still being held at plant without any explanation, COVP being extended for another week. I'd prepare for bad news and hope it's just them laying out production plans.

It's a great vehicle and will take care of about 95% of most Bronco owners needs. 😀. 200k and going strong, even has the 3.5 turbo everyone wanted.
Also ugly as sin. Not to mention has not been made since 2019.
