So you can’t get a bronco, can’t get a decently equipped f150, can’t get a ranger, can’t get a super duty, can’t get a lightning, can’t get a maverick…. What the hell is going on

And Carvana took another $7mil hit on their inventory value overnight.
Carvana was ran by crooks ..something like FTX was. Carvana backers were big into crypto . Look at who's on the board. Carvana had several states blocking them to sell when carvana was at the top of its game

I’ll wait to see the specifics. I won’t compromise on the 2 door, but I’d be willing to drop SAS and switch to a Badlands. Never wanted LUX.

The question is whether one constraint ups the odds of getting scheduled. I really wish they could find a soft top option for the 2 door.

After reading this last night I almost lost my mind. I have only been waiting since Feb. but a year is what the dealer told me to expect. I was good with that. I was even good with a year or a year and half or possibly two. If all this is true, It could be much longer for SAS and MIC. The SAS is a must. The MIC is almost a must, and the Lux is no biggie if I can get the high package. I went shopping online to look at a few and found one that is the exact same as my order with the exception of Lux. It has high package instead. It also has tow. My order didn't. The color is even the same. Long story short, I bought it and it is being shipped by truck. Should have it in about a week. The one I bought does have 5K on it. Supposedly the original owner ordered two, this Badlands and a Wildtrack. He got this a few months ago and traded it back into same dealer a few days ago when Wildtrack arrived. So hopefully this part of the drama is over for me. I hope it is all worth it.
I was in the same boat as you, ordered last Feb a Badlands/LUX/SAS/MIC/TOW in Carb Gray... The writing was on the wall... I had been reaching out to at least a couple dozen dealerships, putting out feelers in case a customer order came in that someone didn’t want. However, I made it clear I wasn't paying 10k+ ADM. Once the ‘22.5 and ‘23 Wildtraks began coming with the HOSS 3.0 Raptor rack/tie rods and Fox suspension, I nearly changed my order. I didn't since I slightly preferred the MGV and washout interior. However, I decided I would be good if a '22.5+ with HOSS 3.0 became available as I'd actually probably get more use out of the WildTrak build than the BL swaybar disco… Cactus Gray and Hot Pepper were my backup colors…

Tues I got a call that a ‘23 Wildtrak LUX/Leather, but soft top, in Cactus came in and became available. In person the Cactus against the black Wildtrak trim w/soft top looked great, and the road noise wasn't too bad. I managed to negotiate to a $3500 ADM, but they had $2500 in non-negotiable add-ons for paint/glass/interior protection, tint and GPS/theft recovery.

The finance guy pulled and honored my $2395 ‘22 Private Offer cert for my Badlands order though, I didn't even have to ask him as he already had it pulled when I walked into his office. So the extra add-ons were nearly a wash.

Then the finance guy matched the Granger 8yr/100k Ford Protect Premium ESP for $50 over cost. Everything said and done, I was ~2400 ADM now with the savings... He then played the lenders a bit and got a great finance rate (for now). Hands down the best financing experience I've had...

I'm feeling pretty good about the deal, especially now and with this news, but I have even more options now if mine ever gets built.. However, I'm no longer stressing about it...

war against fossil fuels, my friend. Can't produce, assemble, ship or operate with the lack of crude processing. Get your chargers ready for a mandatory electric cars in less than 10 years lol

Sad thing is none of the EV’s (trucks mainly) are affordable.

Was just at my dealer helping an older family member lease a new car. I am an unscheduled 2 Door Wildtrak. Day 1, Hour 1 reservation.

He confirmed this info. Said he does not have all the details yet but would be calling me Tuesday to discuss options. He did not believe the Top Issue will effect 2 doors, just 4 doors but that is just conjecture on his part.

Having lived through an 11 month wait on my Gen 1 Raptor, I was prepared for issues but this is just a disaster. I haven't needed my Bronco but I will in the next 6 months.

I was going to take off and sell wheels and tires but I did want the steering rack and 3.0s along with a few other options on the WT. Going to mess around with builds here to see how close I can get to what I wanted. If my original PP is honored and there is an additional rebate AND he can promise delivery in a reasonable time frame, will stay otherwise I am out.

This is unforgivable on Ford’s part. If I hadn’t received mine in December I’d walk and never consider Ford again. I’m already there even with my Bronco. First and last Ford I’ll ever buy.
Not defending Ford but this is not just a Ford problem. I would explain further but the I would get in trouble for being political.

While we know the world is changing and the pandemic is a thing, this situation is ABSOLUTELY of FORD's making. With the cars on lots right now, they are choosing not to honor reservation holders. That has been the case since production started. They have made 170K+ Broncos. Its a failure on every level. They chose to do this.

Yes what a great move. No stress has lot's of value. I had to basically pay sticker even though it had 5K in mileage. I wouldn't have dreamed of paying even sticker a couple of years ago but it's like I tell my wife, It doesn't matter what was, all that matters is what is. Over the last year I have filled my garage with things to put on this rig. I sort of put myself in a corner with all this stuff and nothing to put it on. When I saw the news last night I started scrambling and found the one I bought. I have a feeling things are really going to get even worse for higher packages going forward. For a while anyway. I bet the few that are out there will dry up. ADM will be crazy for a long time to come on the upper builds. I feel blessed I found mine and still look forward to watching my order move along.

You are correct, but don't be surprised with another round of "cash for clunkers" style buy back here in the US. Im sure it will be like "Cash for Gas-Style, earth killing Internal Combustion Vehicles buyback program"

Well this is not good news. Just got this email from Ashlie at Chapman Ford...

Follow-up posted by @frostyjake

A link to a reply from Ashlie was posted above, but it seems people are missing it. Here's the the text from the Chapman thread:

Per my dealer yesterday “
Today, we had a Ford meeting and you will find out next week when Ford sends out letters that Ford is going to ask customer to lose the hard top and the luxury package and the Sasquatch package to get Broncos built and give the customer a $2,500.00 additional rebate for those who remove these commodities that are in short supply.”
Note: my reservation was 2021 and my order is from 2021 and I have been bumped to 2023 already. What the hell are they doing at Ford?!
