NO START - 23 Badlands 3700 mi -

Truck has been flawless for first 3 months. Now after a 2 hr drive and a day later, it won’t start. Tried a jump pack and jumper from another vehicle, no luck. Pulled battery cables, no change. Shows every failure under the sun when pushing start button. First is always Engine Coolant Overtemp.

When a Bronco is still new and the IP lights up like a Christmas tree, it is often the battery or fuse box. Check the battery voltage to make sure it is sufficient and the respective terminal connections. Then check the fuse box and ensure it is firmly mounted.

Out of town Ford dealer says its a bad Gateway Module. Been waiting for part to ship since 12/30. Can't imagine a major module would go bad from one day to the next without any prior warning or issues. Dealer says its not a battery or power issue but not sure they've fully explored that route. Stuck with a terrible Enterprise rental van that Ford probably won't fully reimburse. On top of that, staring at a major snowstorm heading our way this weekend. Extremely frustrating, happy New Year. @Ford Motor Company -- can you help?

New Gateway module that arrived today is only communicating with a few other modules and car still won’t start. Dealer is contacting Ford Engineering. Here we go…
