Ford Bronco "No-Step" Rock Slider from GOAT Fabrication 001.JPG

Here's the first look of a new product we're just finishing up. This is our "No-Step" Rock Slider. It attaches with the same sub-structure mounting system as our regular Rock Sliders, but is a single tube design.

This provides a tighter to the body, all business solution for those looking for solid rocker protection without the need for a step while also providing some coverage of the unsightly pinch-seam.

We expect to release these within a few days and will have pricing and more details very soon.

Those look great! Looking forward to price and availability.

Question @GoatFab, are the ends capped? Can't quite see from the pics. Thanks!

I like your bars with the step but can you jack up the side of the vehicle with them? Why isn’t anyone making them frame mounted?

LoD and Shrockworks are frame mounted. Both suggest drilling some (shrockworks less than LoD) and I think that's the reason most sliders aren't frame mounted. Smaller market of people willing to drill.

DV8 has some no drill that bolt to the body mounts of the frame, but it's only 2 bolts in each corner. I doubt they are anywhere near as strong as the LoD or Shrockworks, and we've seen GOAT demonstrate slamming theirs on large rocks 🤘

edit: I'm getting the impression that the body with these hefty mounts by GOAT (and next venture) can take a beating

Looks like they offer exactly as much protection as the factory rock rails, which can be found all over the b6g marketplace for $300 or less.

Factory rock rails are not frame mounted. Not even close to the same protection.

The mounting on these is stout compared to the stock ones which are mostly pinch weld mounted. If you look at the thread for the GOAT step sliders, or look at their web site you will see how these mount.
They are not Frame mount, but mount to body structure with 1/4 in plate. I have the step style on order.

Installing the shrockworks this evening, I will let you know how much drilling is needed.

Those tires could double as paddle wheels....good for at least 4 knots I'm sure.

My bad….thought they must be frame mounts.
