Two questions:

1. Will the lack of carpet in the BL make it louder than the Wildtrak?
2. In the packages that list additional sound dampening material, where do you think that is added? In the doors and underbody? What gets added?

It would surely be louder at least a little, but the extra sound deadening will make far more difference than just carpet alone.

Most likely, a product like Dynamat would be used.

I will also add that the sound deadening headliner (like OEM, or the Hotheads product that has a thread on this site) will do a lot to deaden the echo you get with a hard inside surface on the hardtop.

Adding Hotheads to my Jeep made the inside feel like a more civilized place to spend my time.

Interior noise has never bothered me, but I’d bet the washout floor is worse than carpet.

That’s what the stereo is for though?

These will not be quiet vehicles. My current truck is loud for a variety of reasons. I’m planning to add the factory headliner just because, but I have no illusions that it will be quiet like my wife’s swanky Telluride.

Per you question about vinyl vs carpet floor I don’t believe anybody knows. Some dynamat in the entire tub would be rad, but let’s face it....Ford is unlikely to go that far.

I’d honestly like to know how well insulated the washout floors are. I want MGV, but care more about road noise insulation than I do about wash out capability. Mud tires are LOUD!
