The GM told me it will make a big difference if I go soft top. This was after I asked the regular salesman who is handling my order. The regular salesman said late last week that switching probably won’t affect the timing by much. Let’s just say I have more faith in the GM and I had to double check lol

Well I mean, I have a goal of 100% annual growth of my investment portfolio, that doesn't mean I even get close
Do you think I actually believe it. Ha

Where does that leave the 2Dr people?
It's been stated here several times by an insider who has proven MANY multiples more reliable than dealers ...2dr orders are in FAR better shape than 4dr hard top orders.

My interpretation is: Ford is focusing hard top production for 4dr FE's and all 2dr builds because they have no other options.

The fact that we have seen several reservations delivered with hard tops shows they have a few extra after the "must have" builds.

fwiw I switched and kind of regret it. Soft tops are the worst imo, not sure I can pay ~60K for a truck that isn't exactly what I want. the alternative is waiting until well into 2022 to get the MIC top (which sucks, just less so) or buying something else.

This is going back to what Ford workers were saying on Facebook a few weeks ago. According to them unless you already had a VIN with a MIC top you were not going to get one until 2022. They said Ford has accounted for all the MIC tops already and were not going to be handing any more out. FE Broncos and those with VINs in hand accounted for all the MIC tops the factory was going to put out. They rest would be soft tops. Now there were a few that said the factory could put out some extra from now until 2022 and that those would be given in small groups of VINs. Wildtraks were not talked about as being included in with the FEs.

It really makes sense as Ford seems to be really waiting until the last minute to hand out the last of the August VINs. I think they will be mostly if not all soft tops.

there's already a B6G magic 8 ball. it's attached below.

Also, calling bullshit on any thread from here on out that starts with "My dealer said...."

Bear in mind that these are the same beacons of morality that will mark up a truck THEY DONT HAVE ON THE LOT, to nearly $100k. Fuck dealers, they're full of shit

I came here just to say that the ONLY people I trust in all of FoMoCo, are the two sales people and "Bronco specialists" at my local out-of-inventory dealership.

You have to work to make this a $60K rig. But if that's your key metric, then you should absolutely buy a full-tits F150 anyway.

If that’s the case then MIC production would be greater than Bronco production.

Question is, how far off are they from hitting that goal.
Like a blind man at an orgy, we're going to have to feel our way around and the answer will come in time.

4dr Badlands, 2.7, SAS, Lux, tow is at 58,395, it's really not that much work.

My biggest concern is how backed up are they with the MIC top? Early reservation holders with MIC top could be waiting until mid MY22 for a damn Bronco.

You picked literally every.single.high.cost.option in the entire build sheet.

Where were you expecting the price to end up at? Honestly, i'm really curious where you thought that was going to be at prior to build and price going live.

Edit: For example, my build is $42k and has all the hardware you want, just without trying to get to $60K. 2-door Badlands, 2.3/MT, Mid.
