Finally got around to doing what others have done!!

mabett hitch - I needed 7pin plug and it was one of the few hitches that had the mounting bracket. Not the thickest material compared to curt or ford but it’ll be fine for what I’ll use it for.
curt harness - very simple install.
Red arc brake controller and harness to connect to oem wiring

I might do this too. How much time/money did it cost to install?
I haven’t tallied up the cost but rough guess around $600 for everything including the new fog light integrated headlight switch.

Install approx 3-4hrs but I take my time especially on the wiring as I like everything neat and clean.

You did this with the curt 4 pole flat trailer connector?
I have purchased the ford hitch, 7way connector and pigtail

yes. I ran a blue wire spliced from under the dash from thebrake controller and a 12v line from the battery back to the 7 pin and wired the 4pin harness to the 7 pin harness on the back of the ford receptacle.

no need honestly. The curt hitch doesn’t accommodate the 7 pin ford receptacle at all. In fact, I took it off and went w the Mabett. Cheaper steel and thinner but it’ll be fine for my applications.

I forgot to mention I did not hookup the reverse wire as I won’t need it. If you need that, the tekonsha might save you some time…

I purchased the OEM Raptor hitch. Found if for less than the normal hitch. I don't need the reverse lights. If i can use the curt 4 pole wiring and run the extra 2 wires it may be easier than the tekonsha 22127? I see you are in FL, How far away do you live from PCB? lol
