It sounds like they're going to make this an annual event. Not sure if the locations will change though. Rocky Glen was fun, I had never been.

Went there for a Ford Rodeo, what a rush! I'd never driven in that before....really increased my confidence level! On street tires no less! Hoping the Byron run on Oct. 15 goes there.

The Byron event is not really a run. The whole event is held at Byron Motorsports Park with easy, medium, and hard "rated" trails by the sponsors with minimum 33" tires for the hard trail.

Oh, cool. Didn't know it existed! I wonder if there'll be spotters in some spots? I'm still new to off-roading....well, at least not getting stuck!

OK, very confused! Address is Byron. Map keeps going to Woodstock! Where is this? OK, looks like Byron!

And wondering if others would gather Together from the western suburbs to head there wherever we're going lol.? I'd figure I'm going out there Sunday morning. Or up there depending on where we're going again LOL

You won't be able to miss the cooling towers for Byron Generating Station right next to the off road park.

I’m probably heading up the night before and spending the night in Rockford, but don’t plan on showing up until Sunday morning.

They do have night rides open on Saturday afternoon/evening from 5pm to 9pm and open again at 8am Sunday for 9am trail rides.

I’m probably heading up the night before and spending the night in Rockford, but don’t plan on showing up until Sunday morning.

I am planning on heading out to Byron at 7:30'ish, if you want to swing by my house (Campton Hills) and follow me out there...may have a jeep or two going with also.

- Meet at Friendly Ford between 9-10am – we will head out at 10am and travel as a pack to Obscurity Brewery in Elburn
- I will need to give the Brewery a head count on 10/12
- Will either need people to RSVP to me at 630.924.8686 ext. 8323 or email [email protected] OR if they hit “going” on the Facebook event they will be counted as 1. If there are more then 1 persons in their vehicle please contact me for correct head count.
- Lunch & 1st Drink will be on us at Friendly Ford!
- Event over at 1pm (I am sure there will be space elsewhere in the Brewery if people want to hang out, but our space is only reserved until 1:00
