Anyone attending any of these Rallies? The plague shut them down for a couple of years now but they're back this year. Lot of fun and lot's of good info to be had on gear, practices, and a lot of recovery instruction. Obviously more Overlanding than "off-roading" but a lot of overlap between them.
Mostly familiar with the NWOR, there's a cool technical course that is set up and the guys from Overland Training Canada ( https://www.overlandtrainingcanada.com/ ) guide people through. Considering the range of vehicles that show up, there's always something interesting going on there. Those guys are rock stars and put in a lot of work and long dusty hours.
I'm involved with the trail rides, had hoped to be driving my Bronco for them, but alas Ford has not deemed me worthy yet. Guess I'll just make sign for my '96 4Runner - "Identifies as a Bronco"
