Any chance the Off-Roadeo runs with the doors off? I assume windows have to be down to hear the instructors, so A/C prob doesn’t do much (especially if someone is in the back seat).

I went August 2021 which is peak hot for Texas. Most of the soft top equipped Bronco's ran with the tops folded back. They soon tried to close them as we had scattered storms on both days.

Just a heads-up, they'll ask you to roll the windows down so they can better communicate (I.E. spotting, etc). But if the weather is sunny/warm, no reason not to remove the top (not sure you'll have much time to remove doors).

I went last summer. I ran the a/c with the windows down. Stayed cool. Bronco has a great air conditioner.
Exactly. Max Air will keep the front cool with the windows down.

Was there last July....very hot and dusty. Mostly ran with ac on. Occasionally put windows down for only the hardest obsticles. We all had gmrs radios in each Bronco. You won't notice the heat too much because you'll be having fun!

In Moab, we weren’t allowed to lower the tops until the highway portion. The idea is they have limited time to clean the vehicles afterward.

It was around 90 that day, you wanted some AC.

I highly doubt they remove doors, for liability purposes.

I was there yesterday, my Bronco was saying it was 111 outside. They said if you were in a soft top Bronco you could open the roof if you wanted, and all the Broncos had their doors on. The only time they asked you to roll down your windows was when you going over an obstacle where the guides were on foot to spot you. One guy was crazy enough to open his top, but only for about half the ride.
