So, lots of people got VINs today. Some got them awhile ago.

My VIN ends in MLA682xx scheduled for July 19th week. Are these going to be built in sequence?

My curiosity has me asking;

My Constraints were - MIC, Tow Package, Brush Guard

BL, 2dr, 2.3 MT, 33 Beadlocks, High Package, Cactus Grey

How about you?
It looks like not.....my VIN ends in 778xx and my build date is the week of 7/12. I have an OBX 2.7 fully loaded except no Squatch

There seems to be no logic to who gets picked to be built.
I know obviously they will build what they have available.
The time/date you reserved doesn't seem to carry much weight.
Obviously dealership choice factors in with limited allotment per dealer.
Just a little odd.

People with identical builds but reservation dates differ by a month and the later one gets built.

Attempting to make any sense of this process is futile.

Curious where you're from and how big your dealership is. I have your exact build except my color is AMB and I don't have the tow package. I reserved mine midnight 7/13 but my dealership - located in the Pacific NW - only has an allocation of 12 so I'm guessing that's my biggest issue right now.
I am in the PNW too. Your Dealer should be able to tell you if you fall within their first set of allocations. That will tell you a lot.

I had MIC top, hitch, 2.7, and Sas on my 4 door BD and got a VIN today. I was not going to give up my hitch and hardtop, already ditched the MOD and softop combo as it was. It seems there was a good amount of Sas and MIC tops this time around which is a good thing.
When was your reservation date? Like another poster said, I am starting to wonder if the res date matters anymore.

So I'm seeing some later VINs with earlier build weeks. Seems the VIN is not tied to the build sequnce.

I think it has everything to do with who remains to be slotted in front of you at your dealer, and whether those builds are equal to less complex than yours. I.e. some Day 2 WT guys may have two Day 1 WT guys in front of them that are preventing them from getting pulled.

From what I've seen posted today, if you got a build email today that's a 2 door in any configuration, consider yourself fortunate.

I have a build week of 07/26 and a VIN ending in 80xxx.

I did have to give up the tow and the hardtop, but with a 09/11 reservation date it was the only way to get anything in the next year. I have other tow vehicles, and the only thing my Bronco will tow is my bike. etrailer will no doubt have an easy way for me to add the hitch. The MIC was a little harder to abandon, but I planned on going soft top from March through November anyway, so I am really only losing 3 months or so with the hardtop. I'll survive especially considering it will stay in the garage and will not be my daily driver.

From everything I am seeing, the only constrained items these days are the hard tops and tow packages. Ford hasn't said a word about any of the original sins.

I was not quite 2 hours after reveal so pretty early, and I was #6 at my dealer I believe.

I think dealership choice is a key factor. A lot of people went with big dealerships or a promise of savings but ended up in a packed lot.

Cool, that makes me feel a tad better. When I see August builds getting VINs with "sins" it makes me question the res dates. I am an early July 14 res and #9 of an est 43 allocations at my dealer and I didn't get an email. I am just curious if some of the "VIPs" are still scheduling and that is why some of these much later "sin" build reservations are going through.
