Number of digits for your order?

How many digits should my order number have? The dealer gave me a 4-digit number which does not work on the back door tracker. The email confirmation from Ford does not have any number. My DORA I can't read the number (poor quality PDF scan).

I’ve never understood allthe weirdness of order numbers either….they are assigned by dealer at time of order, mine was four digits, worked on the FMC tracker that requests Order Number and VIN. I’ve heard there are three digit order numbers though. Don’t think my order number appeared on anything emanating from FMC.

No VIN yet. Fresh order as of 10/25/21. All I have so for is the confirmation email from Ford. I want to sign up for the OffRoadeo but need the order number for the reimbursement.

No reservation so that must be why the backdoor does not work.

You wont get any info on any website until you get assigned a VIN

Mine is four-characters—three numerals and a letter.

Without being an original reservation holder, you are a dealer order. Your dealer should be able to get you any info you need for Off-Roadeo. That’s what mine did to get me to Moab.
