I'm trying to decide between the OB or the WT.

Can anyone tell me if I'm missing anything?

WT has different interior, rock rails, dif. grill and 7 G.O.A.T Modes.
vs.
OB has paint matched door handles and mirror caps (no painted fenders w sasquatch), powder coated tube steps, and 6 G. O.A.T Modes.

When I upgrade the OB to the SASQUATCH package, do I get the 7th GOAT?
Does the 210 front differential come with SASQUATCH on OB?

I'm less concerned about colors and finishes and more about options one has over the other.

when I add SAS to OB, the fender flares are not painted anymore. Are mirrors and door handles still painted?

Also, this sheet says the WT has carpet but doesn't mention carpet on the OB?

Shawn, the OBX is more of the luxury edition with all the "go" parts included. The WT has a few things added, plus the SAS package, that are options on the OBX. And it doesn't look like the OBX would get the extra GOAT mode. What the compare page says is what it will be.

And yes, the OBX will have carpet.

As I understand it Sasquatch includes the 210 front w/ locking front and rear diffs...its will not change the G.O.A.T mode for that particular trim. As far as I know all have carpet except for BD and BL.

Both can be optioned pretty much the same except for the goat mode. The WT is an OBX with a blackout package and a unique interior. It really does only come down to what interior you want or if you want paint matched or blackout exterior features.

Odd on that comparison page it states this under the Wildtrak
Electronic-locking Front and Rear Axle (Available Option)

Yet the WT automatically comes with the SAS package which states
4.7 Final Drive Ratio with Electronic-Locking Front and Rear axle

Just another glitch in the Ford Matrix.

Just to note, Wildtrak does NOT come with rock rails, nor tube steps, but either/or are options on it. Compared to OBX, which comes with the tube steps.

I don't think you get the 7th mode with Sasquatch on OBX, but not sure.

I'd imagine mirrors and handles will stay painted with sasquatch.

I bounced between the OBX and WT since December or so. When I placed my order I made the split decision to go with a SAS OBX, mainly for the Roast leather interior. I do also prefer the body color mirrors.

Same w the mirrors. And door handles. We lose the painted fenders w SAS but I’m not sure the big flares would look good painted.
You didn’t want the 7th goat mode?

Same. Although I spent a little less time flirting with the WT.

Which goat mode are we losing again? Edit - Baja. Ugh, think that’s a popular one when reading driving reviews

i wonder if you could put it in sport mode and switch to 4H to get the same effect. Doubt it though

Exactly the same reason I chose OBX. I optioned the OBX with SAS as well. I also didn't care too much about the extra Baja mode. OBX sport mode should be enough which appears to be the same with the exception of locking rear I believe (but don't quote me on it). I can always adjust these in Sport and be close enough. For me body color mirrors and grill was also better looking on the OBX.

Edit: jaruss01 posted the table I was remembering. Drive is the only difference, not rear locker. Although regardless, should be close enough for my needs.

Baja mode really won't help me out, sport mode will be used the most for sure. Not a lot of high speed desert running in AK lol

Do you get the unlocking stabilizing bar with the obx?
