Right there with you. Mine may not leave the dealership, let them take them off and resell them to a vertically challenged Bronco purchaser. If not, they are gone once I get home.

I will be opting in to a set of AMP Powersteps for my OBX. These "tubes" are more like scaffolding IMO. No thank you!

It would be nice if Ford offered us a few step options from power to real tubes but I suspect that is not going to happen.

do you have to drill through the floorboard for the amp powerstep? That is my only hesitation with aftermarket power steps.

Yes, I for one would upgrade to a powered step like AMP.

I'm with everyone else, those are the only qualm I have with the OBX so either selling them off immediately or requesting a delete with my order.

Hopefully we get some upgrade options. Several for the F150 unfortunately not the Ranger. Looks just like the Bronco ?

I agree. I really don’t want the 18” wheels and would prefer something a bit more aggressive for the steps (I am to old to jump into my truck every day so I want something to step up in and so does my wife). Hate to just trash either. That gets me back to a BB mid package, but with the standalone options I like, that may not make sense either.

Agreed, the wheels are appalling. I am having a pre-delivery sale on mine. They will come off as soon I can get to the tire shop and we can bolt on the new wheels/tires.

One side benefit of the side steps is that they help prevent door dings. They have saved my Raptor many times.
My experience as well -- the side steps on my Raptor have prevented door dings from the self absorbed (have been able to watch them in action on a couple of occasions).
