October 2020 Reservation and January 2022 Order and Still no Build Date

Trust me I understand. I was a second day reservation holder, ordered three times and just got my VIN a few weeks ago.

I can’t decide if this a “stay pumped” or “hang in there” moment. Either way it’s been an emotional journey and I’d wager it’s far from over. Good luck on yours.

7/14/20 1:04 am reservation holder.

For context, the reservation banks opened 5 hours prior, at 8 pm on 7/13/20.

My 2021 order became a 2022 order became a 2023 order.

Meanwhile, I bought an awesome Rubicon Unlimited. Will run numbers when my order actually gets a VIN.

I'm Aug 2020 with a 103XXXXX reservation # and just got a build date a couple weeks ago. 105xx - sorry - you got a while to go.

I'm honestly shocked anyone still thinks that matters... I got scheduled in the first wave with a 1111xxx res.

Of course I just got bumped for the second time to December.

It was well established in the early days of reservations that reservation numbers were not issued in sequential order.

That's pretty much my point. That and the fact that Ford doesn't pay attention to them.

When did you find out you got bumped? I had a 11/21 build date in the first round of MY23 scheduling and was bumped like 2 days later to 11/28. I have been seeing a few 11/28 dates pushed back so I figure it’s just a matter of time before I get bumped again.

Was originally 11/14 then got bumped the first time to 11/28. Just got an email last night bumping me to 12/12.

Ford said they would pay attention to reservation time stamps. They may do that but obviously it has less impact than things like dealer allocation.
What I saw in this thread is people comparing reservation numbers which have nothing to do with reservation time stamp.
