OEM Front License Plate Bracket is Dealer Installed

For anyone concerned about the OEM front license plate bracket it’s not installed prior to arriving at the dealer like the Explorer in states requiring a front plate. If you don’t want your Bronco drilled let the dealer know not to install it.

That is crazy. Maybe it’s one of those odd Union jobs in the Chicago plant’s contract?

Thankfully I am not in a state that needs a front plate. Anytime I have purchased a car, the front plate is always thrown in the trunk/back of the vehicle.

Don't think I have run into a dealer being proactive about adding work.

I've never really heard of it NOT being done during dealer prep. The explorer mention is news to me. I always make sure the dealer has it in writing that the front plate holder won't be needed and will not be installed or it could jeopardize the deal.

With the mod front bumper, could it go between the recovery points? I feel like that would look a little better than up above the bumper. Having it above the bumper in the middle kind of screws up having a winch.
