Given the known liabilities of the OEM hardtop (propensity for delam and hairline cracks around windows, extreme susceptibility to minor surface damage) is there a reason to prefer it over any of the aftermarket solutions which use battle tested technology that has been in use on the Wrangler for decades?
For me it is warranty, oem and the 4 panel design and wiper design. Being able to take all 4 panels off with Trailrax roof rack is nice. Also being able to take all 4 panels off put them in bags in the back for easy storage. I had a Turn reserved but one panel take off no on board storage or removal with trailrax had me reconsider. I do get the OEM has its issues but hopefully 3 years in they have fixed them like 21 vs 24 Broncos.

How do you intend on storing the large OEM top center section in the rear of the Bronco? Also, did you use the code for 20% off up to $2,000?

Garage like any other hardtop if you take it completely off. Probably will just have the 4 panels off 95% of the time when I want a convertible and still have a soft top for maybe some summer months so it foldsback all the way in less than 5 mins.

You said in bags in the back of the Bronco, not the garage, hence the confusion.

You can't fit the entire thing in a bag just the front panels so easy to travel with if you get caught in rain.

Exactly, that why I asked. The rear is a single large piece and will not fit back there.

I promise, they have not fixed the MIC top. I'm waiting on my 3rd. Maybe the Mod tops won't have the same problems.

Luck of the draw I feel with the tops. Have friends with no issues and some like yours that has to be replaced. Feel like the vehicles are that way as well. No issues and have 22k so far. 🤞

No ticket needed. You can order one now without a ticket.
Not in Arizona, unfortunately. Ford has chosen to apparently delay the availability to those of us in Arizona, Oklahoma, and Vermont.

I've called dealers in three different states, and gotten three different stories. I then called Ford directly, and got a corresponding fourth story that was utterly different from the first three.

Not sure I would want an OEM top now considering all the aftermarket tops you can get. Only MIC would interest me and I don't think I want that as much as I once did.

Thats crazy wonder why they exclude states. Well if it makes you feel better I paid

Sorry that sucks. Well I guess wait or go for a Turn Offroad top and drive to S Cal and have them install it when it is ready.

You know how dealerships suck? well, these are laws on the books here in Arizona that say, EXPLICITLY, that all manufacturer sales have to go through a dealer. It's mafia-style protectionism and is why dealerships (at least here) give not one single fuck about doing a bad job, because where else you gonna go?
