I think you can do better just tuning the stock turbo, but can you do EVEN BETTER with the HPP turbo with tune? There are some high HP Ecoboost Mustangs, RS. I can’t wait to see what modded 2.3 Broncos do. Hopefully shops get their hands on the Bronco quick and a decent number of Forum members start modding too. Coming from Subaru turbos, everyone modifies them.

If I was going to go through all of the hassle of swapping out a different turbo, I wouldn't waste time with a barely-changed OEM spec turbo.

I live a good half hour or so from JDM Engineering, hoping I can be one of the first guinea pigs after I place my order.

I just know the FoRS/Mustang HPP are a slightly bigger turbo, though Laminar's right, though if anything, get the RS Turbo and then just swap all the parts of it for better ones, so it's Semi-OEM+ xD

Just randomly thought about it as I noticed a Mustang HPP at the dealer and then read the reviews on it
