Unfortunately I don't think the truck will fit in my garage after putting it on my SAS Badlands. I can't remember how many inches it adds.

Thank you.
Exactly. If they have this much markup on a simple accessory, they're really going to rape you on the MIC top...This is why we laugh at people who use B&P to try and come up with a soft top +$695 price for the MIC top at the parts counter.
If we take the B&P to parts counter markup ~230% here that means the MIC will be ~$4700.... at leastExactly. If they have this much markup on a simple accessory, they're really going to rape you on the MIC top...
Actually, they're not worried about a 25lb rack . . . they're worried about nudnicks like me who will load the rack with 300 lbs of cargo.Pleasantly surprised at the price, shocker for a Ford Accessory.
They're afraid the additional 25lbs weight capacity will tip a Badlands over, if it has a 2.7l
On softtops, yes.Is it a constraint?
They ain't worried about you, just waiting so they can void the warranty on valves on your 2.7 because ypu overloaded the roofActually, they're not worried about a 25lb rack . . . they're worried about nudnicks like me who will load the rack with 300 lbs of cargo.
I meant is that holding up (my) build? On softtops, yes.
I still think. If dimensions between rear legs allow, that brackets could be fabricated to attach the factory rack to a dofttop since the rear side windows are essentially only held in place at top with velcro. A bracket could extend through the gap between window and roof for the rack to attach.
Edit. Nowhere in the listing does it say "only for use with MIC top"
