Off Roadeo Reimbursement for Bronco delivery that you didn't originally order?

Hey all,

So after waiting nearly 2 years and still not getting a build date, I decided to purchase a Bronco at MSRP from another dealer, picking it up later this week. It was actually someone else's order on this forum who graciously offered it to me.

This is probably a dumb question but I haven't been able to get a clear answer on it from my Googling... I assume I don't get price protection since this isn't my original order, but am I able to get reimbursement for the Bronco Offroadeo that I did last October? Or is that tied to my original reservation/order?

It should be tied to the vehicle that you bought.

I'm sure it is tied with your original order as that is what got you in Offroadeo to begin with. It's what they have on record -- but no harm asking Ford about it, that's where the refund comes from.

Just following up on this in case anyone runs into a similar situation... I got an email a couple days ago saying I'm being refunded the $200 for the Off Roadeo. Showed up at the same time as my 42,000 Ford points.

I never contacted Ford so I assume the system just reimburses you when it sees you've purchased any Bronco, not necessarily your reserved Bronco.
