We took our Outer Banks for it's first off road trip over the past weekend.

Over all the Outer Banks did great! We went through a ton of sand, mud and water while trying out the different GOAT modes and Trail Turn Assist.

Needless to say my wife is hooked and wants to explore more trails as soon as possible. She also wants to outfit the Bronco with more parts, I am thrilled! 😀

*Disclaimer, we are by no means experts but we do like to have fun which we definitely accomplished!

Great video! Family is so genuinely happy awesome to see!

For practice you might have your wife work on those tree crossings...much like a ledge or crevasse if you ever get into rocks. The theory is to cross over 1 tire at a time as slow as possible...most drivers like to start with the drivers side tire going up first and just before it touches the ground on the other side of the tree you want the passenger front to start the climb...same for the rear as slow as you can go. Might help teach finesse, throttle control and overall vehicle feel / placement. OR, just like she did it! Keep the vids coming!

Hopefully we can learn things like this and more techniques at the Off Roadeo this fall. Right now the technique is more throttle 😀

Thats florida they just hit it and get it down there. Slopping around in mud is all about spinning tires and having fun. She did real good.

Yep! The vids from inside looking at their faces are the best shots! Great stuff...Ford needs to put you all on a commercial!

We were up in Citrus County, Withlacoochee State Forest. Started in Trail 13 from Stage Coach Rd. We followed friends in Jeep's who are familiar with the area.

Have you gone to the Ocala Forest yet? We saw a bear last weekend driving on the forest roads. Does the trail you went on have lots of brush that hits the car?

Everyone recommends that we try out Ocala, we will make it there but would like to go with someone who knows the area.

Most of the Withlacoochee trails are wide enough for the Bronco. We too out Super Duty there a few months ago and it was tight in places.
