I have seen videos where it looked deeper than this and the Bronco had the doors off. Maybe there is more than one "water crossing?"

Either way, I plan to go to the one in Moab so I can beat the crap out of Ford's Broncos on the rocks instead of my own... I am hoping they let us get onto at least some reasonably challenging trails or I may pass on the event all together.

EDIT: To clarify, I am not complaining. I still think it's a cool event, but I don't necessarily want to pay for a flight and hotel room if I already have my Bronco and I don't get to beat on Ford's a little. If mine is "scheduled" and I still have a wait ahead of me, I will most likely go. Time will tell!

You don't learn how to swim by jumping off a boat in the ocean (although, I'm sure someone will chime in and say they did ). You start small. This is a school for all types of drivers. Most of whom have probably never off-roaded past a gravel road. Maybe they can offer an advanced coarse for the know-it-alls.

This is the ORX portion you do for the first hour. You will get to rip on the sport and 2.5 hours or so in the big ones. Its a blast and sending 2 more of our empolyees after my brother and I went on the 10th.

@Toccoa is right, this is an event for customers of all experiences. Do I think those pictures shared by the OP are a joke? Yeah, I think that’s a puddle.

I bet lots of people hit that puddle going too fast and not knowing how to properly ford water. It’s all about teaching and allowing people to become more comfortable and learn the features of their new vehicle.

I’m new to off reading myself, and I wish I could attend one of these sessions. Too bad this appears only to be available to US customers. I think it’d be a good, safer environment to become more familiar with the vehicle with various levels of expertise.

You will get them axle deep provided the creeks are full but nothing deep. Its a learning experience. We bottomed out several times, drug the under body plate, smacked the diffs and rear bumper coming off shelves.
