Headed out with a friend for the Nevada Off Rodeo on the 15th of October (2022). We are both looking forward to it. He has his Bronco already, I am still waiting for a build date on mine.

Hopefully it will have cooled off a little by then.

Anyone else going that day?

My wife and I are attending the 10/8 offrodeo. Bronco blend date is 9/21, so it may be in shortly after we return, knock on wood!

I went there last Friday, weather was great, perfect temperature. The location is apparently 4000 ft above Las Vegas, you might need a sweater in October. It's a fantastic event, especially by the end of the afternoon. That last trail....

Not gonna spoil it and I'd avoid watching videos of the location, keep the surprised for when you're there. Great crew there, great location and the Bronco is a beast. Have a great time!

Talked to some salesman at my dealership, one went to Austin two to Vegas, and they thought Vegas was the better venue.
If anyone budget minded would care to share what they spent on hotels and car rental, it would be greatly appreciated. I haven't rented a car or been to Vegas for 5 years, so have no idea of the expense.

rental car depends on what you want to rent, I spent around 300 on a midsize SUV with AAA discount at Hertz.
We stayed at the Hilton Garden Hotel on S Las Vegas Blvd, great location to get to the Offroadeo. I don't care about gambling and all that resort or casino bling. From there it's only 30 min up 160 to the venue.
Two nights cost $560 with good breakfast included. I went with my son, we had a good room with two queen beds, all clean and comfortable bed. The place is nothing special, but I only wanted a decent room. Mainly I wanted to be close to the offroadeo. There seems to be crazy traffic 24/7 on the strip.

Thank you, exactly what I was looking for. I would like to attend one with my son also, from my location Vegas and Austin are cheap flights through budget airlines.

the Vegas location is really great. I also picked it since it's basically the same kind of terrain I'll find in the Sierras here in CA. I'll be avoiding mud like lava, have zero interest in mudding (or getting that crap out of all the hidden places afterwards).
And while I don't gamble - one look around on the strip tells you who is 'winning' the money here - it's fun to walk around. We checked out Fremont street one night, did the zip line too, checked out the strip after the Roadeo just walking around, watching people and performers and the fountains etc. Day after the Roadeo we checked out Red Rock Canyon, worth a visit, then back on the strip for lunch (fantastic pasta at Eatly), rode the NYNY rollercoaster twice (worth the money IMO) and walked around the strip some more, into some of the casinos we had not visited the night before. Walked some 25 miles according to the fitness tracker on my son's phone. Vegas is fun every 10 years or so. Weather was perfect, not crazy hot anymore. So many people out and about, like a concert or sports event just let everyone out. I could never live in that town, but it's a fun visit.
Don't know anything about the Texas location, I think it's more flat? We did some steep things with those Broncos in Vegas.

I'm going on 10/8 as well, just me solo though.....couldn't get the wife to come. I have my Bronco already and is a similar build to yours, so if we meet up happy to answer any specific questions.

I was staying at the golden nugget for a work function. I just used Lyft to get out there. It was about $60 each way and I scheduled in advance. A rental car was $160 for a day and the Budget stand’s hours would’ve made it a 2 day rental.
