my pop up is only 2000lbs because my Mercury can only tow 2000lbs because soft suspension

And? Look at the range in towing capacities on the F series. It’s completely doable, Ford just chose not to... and in doing so, losing me and many others as customers

Look, everything else about it is cool and all, but if it can’t do what I was specifically buying it for, then I’m not going to buy it. Ford greatly underperformed in that aspect

I think I can do this, I will forever be disappointed in the engine choices, but as long as I can get a decent axle ratio on the 2 door 7 speed base model then I’m good.

Replace those cheap tires with some proper 37x12.5 rubber and I’ll be happy.
