Seats in my boat are ten years old. Very high quality marine grade vinyl. They are holding up very well, stains come out pretty easy. They have a good feel to them. There are several grades of Marine Vinyl, mine are the top of the line. Mine do not feel cheep, are not to sticky on a 95 degree day on the lake, but mine are 90% white which helps.A lot of “leather” seats are only partial real leather these days. So will the marine vinyl have a leatherette feel? If so I would say it is probably an upgrade over cloth for those who generally prefer leather over cloth..
For those who boat, are there any downsides to the marine grade seats? Will they look/feel cheap? Extra sticky in heat? Would help decide base vs black diamond.
I think I would really like this in a Bronco. Just not sure if you can get heated seats with the Marine option. My wife will insist on heated seats.
