so you just added 4 more HP to the Warthog?

So Bronco Raptor 418HP 444TQ

2.7L BRONCO. 330HP 415TQ

2.3L BRONCO. 300HP 325TQ

(Premium fuel on 2.3l and 2.7l, no word on numbers with 87 octane in the Raptor).

Very close to my initial guess of 415/445.
I think its more than enough. And should still beat out the 392 in most tests

0-60 and 1/4 mile won’t be one of them.

Also, many were overestimating the torque numbers (500lbs+) that ain’t gonna happen from the factory with the 10R60.

The numbers are pretty much what I was expecting (420/450)

Well, torque is almost the same as the 442 in my diesel jeep. Love the amount of torque it has and hoping the HP in the Braptor will make me not want the 392!

Very good chance I wouldn't plan on bringing the Raptor to 0-60 and 1/4 mile races.

I was just checking, and those are pretty good numbers for the displacement, though are those wheel numbers or crankshaft?

I built a Supercharged ford 3.8 back in 2010 that put out 441rear wheel horsepower and 462 ft/lbs of torque from the wheels. That was on a factory block that was rated at 198 crankshaft hp back in the day.

I would expect them to do better with current generation tech, but maybe they are holding a little back so the ford performance power pack can unlock the magic?

Displacement-wise, the Raptor is showing 139hp per liter, and 146ft/lbs per liter.
My motor was 116hp per liter and 121 ft/lbs per liter, though others got over

So it's better, but I bet it can be much better if they let it go with a power pack or a tune.

Probably limited it due to the transmission

I can’t wait to line up to one at a red light. Pretty crumby they stuck with the 10r60. Deff would go deep pan/upgraded clutch packs with a tune.
FP did upgrades to the trans for the Raptor.

2022 Bronco Raptor gets 418hp / 440tq per Jim Farley.

Always want more... So that means with some tuning an parts 500+ is doable!!! May need to reconsider which one to keep; Wildtrak or Braptor?:unsure:

One will go to for sure.

Probably not, but they’re the most common metrics we use to look at vehicle acceleration and performance. If you’re buying a Raptor, you can’t tell me you don’t care about performance. You’ll probably be giving it the sauce on the street more than jumping it on the dunes.
