Probably not, but they’re the most common metrics we use to look at vehicle acceleration and performance. If you’re buying a Raptor, you can’t tell me you don’t care about performance. You’ll probably be giving it the sauce on the street more than jumping it on the dunes.
Performance on the trail and desert is more about consistent torque at a wide rpm range, this is what Ford has been saying they were tuning for from the beginning with Raptor specific turbo's, intake and exhaust mods. I'm fairly certian they could have squeezed 500 hp out of the 3.0L if gaudy numbers were the goal. I understand performance metrics, I have an LS7 in my Z06 and I built the 408 (351 SVO block) in my '66 Bronco which is maximum overkill for trails but is killer at car shows, lol.

Source or is that the rumor?
I've actually seen videos of Ford engineers stating this and explaining why they stuck with the 10R60 instead of the 10R80, they claim it had more parasitic losses, more weight and inconsistent shifting.
Someone on this forum was listing Raptor parts from Ford that showed the extra oil cooler and parts associated. Videos are all available on Utube

More than enough horsepower to go to the mall, country club, cruise-in or gym. That is where I see F-150 Raptors in Florida. Never with an ounce of dirt on them.

Almost as much as I have in my 2 door.
Actually I'd be curious to see the lb/hp on this to my 2.7/2dr... Too early to math tho, anyone already do it? 😉

Source? and i dont mean to be a dick but "I read" or "I heard" is not a source.
Never was mentioned internally that they made any changes to the transmission outside of some specific tuning because of 37” tires
