Only a crew can option?
Probably since it is the most popular configuration in a truck these days and the easiest to configure with this platform (escape). If they see demand for another configuration they will build it.

It's okay... except it's only available as a 4-door.😞

Give me a stick-shift, and I might consider it for a town car. But Ford won't do that. So. No real interest.

I wish they would bring back the Ranchero on the Mustang platform. RWD, 5.0, 6MT. That would be a blast.

It's a good looking little truck. About the size of a previous-gen Ranger. Realistically, it should be able to handle what 75-ish% of pickup owners actually use a truck for. I think it'll be crazy popular with younger buyers, city dwellers and fleets.

Agreed. I have driven a Falcon UTE with the supercharged 5.0 and manual and it was such a fun car. Would love to see Ford reinstate the Falcon line here in the US

The Ford Ridgeline was taken? Maybe Ford Hilux would have required more capability or a machinegun in the back...

I'd be interested in the Maverick. Tired of big vehicles. Want 4 doors. Would love a little bed. Probably only going to have #3500 max tow.

I'm really pumped for this, not for myself but for my mother. She needs a nice ride, and wants a small truck with four doors. Cycled through a few 200-300k+ mile cheap/free cars for years. Frugality at it's best 😂 and she deserves something nice!

This makes way more sense for her than anything else, the Ranger has gotten big and TALL, and especially with the used market on trucks being insane right now. She doesn't need a body-on-frame medium or full-size truck... She truly needs a "car with truck capabilities"

A base is probably just fine. Good gas mileage, comfy ride and interior, manageable size, most importantly easy entry and exit... No getting around aging. With a small bed to run errands and throw random gardening and thrift store items in. There's plenty of full-size trucks a phone call away for heavy work (she has an '88 F150 long bed, my brother does construction, and I operate a tow truck)

I'm hoping it's essentially a Bronco Sport with a bed. My friends got a Sport Big Bend as a commuter, and for what it is INTENDED TO BE, it's a winner over everything in it's class. It's not the full-size, and honestly it doesn't deserve any of the hate it gets. It was never intended to be directly comparable to the big Bronco 🤷🏻‍♂️
