UPDATE: JUNE 21, 2024

The moment you've all been waiting for!

A Ford Performance representative has revealed the Ford Performance ProCal tune (3.0L) is coming July 2024.

More specifically, around July 2, 2024. It is reported to be available for purchase the same month. (See attached screenshot).

Originally slated for a Q1 2024 release, the tune was delayed until Q3 2024.

Bronco base program (2.3L & 2.7L) has had ProCal devices available since spring 2023.

It is estimated the device for the 3.0L may boost the Bronco Raptor's power to figures around **455 horsepower and **477 lb-ft torque.

Who all is planning to purchase the calibration device?

Don’t see any new entries for Ford on the CARB website for the 3.0L calibration yet, but I can’t imagine they would release something that’s not 50 state.

I have spent more for less but thats how it goes. I will take the 40tq gain for off roading.

Yeah I see what you're going for here $$ to gains, but to simply have it, without doing any other crap is pretty damn nice. The ProCal for my 2.7L totally changed the attitude of the vehicle. I suppose on the Raptor its better tuned from the factory. Curious to see what reviewers think.

Now if you really want to see some silly math, look at the jerry can illmunati convincing you that paying for a rotopax is stupid, but then tell you that you need to mount $1500-2000 worth of rear bumper crap just to externally mount a single jerry can.

Not sure why the lower HP/TQ compared to other offerings is news to anyone. The price is high but if it keeps the warranty intact, that's where the value is.

The hp/tq numbers haven’t been released by Ford.
The 455/477 is just a guess based off a random license plate @Cactus Jack saw on a Bronco Raptor which has sort of already been debunked lol But who knows, maybe he made a crazy good guess.

So, thinking this through, if this "tune" removes the ASS (or renders it inoperable) programming...shouldn't you be able to compare the AB data through FORScan on the vehicle to your original AB data and see what changes Ford made so that 2024 owners (for example) can finally do the same on their own?

I don’t think so, because the tune is likely disabling it through the PCM, which I’m pretty sure forscan cannot edit.

The 2.3 tune in 23 didn't get CARB for a few months after it was released to the other states.

Yes they would have to say it’s CARB Pending, which is what Ford will likely advertise if the CARB exemption has not been issued yet.
