IIRC, when I went into the B&P, I couldn't order this even if I wanted to. Something about Sasquatch, and that 8oz of film making it too heavy or something....

Thanks for posting. I was thinking about getting it but not any more.
I’ll look at aftermarket or ceramic coating now.

This is my 15 year old shitbox xB. I'm buying a bug deflector ASAP when the are available for the Bronco.

Bronco will have same vulnerability based on shape.

ETA is this black or AMB???

Lol at the people here who think they’ll get PPF for less than what Ford is charging. Call a shop they’re going to charge you $500+ just to cover the front.

Kind of standard on what other makers do from the factory. I just wanna know who determines the skill level?!?

Agree with @jsharpe on covering the area around the windshield and below the grill. Would also add the side view mirrors.

This factory option looks like it just covers half the hood. In my opinion, this looks like crap as you can see the edge of the film halfway across your hood. Get the whole hood done.

I'm sure there are some fine products out there, my experience with Xpel was excellent.

I also plan for ceramic coating. I was gonna do PPF but was very expensive. Hoping with the coating, it will all buff out. That's what I'm told anyway

I need to know more about this protection film. I have a protective film on my RV. It's developed a couple of small gouges from rocks and road debris. Cost more to remove/replace than to repaint and the company - Diamond Shield - does not guarantee removal will not damage paint. Not sure what best solution is but I have friends that ceramic coated their wranglers and they look great even after heavy trail running. I know ceramic doesn't protect that well, but I'm a bit worried about these films.

230k miles and still going strong. Was great for a kid right out of college living in Atlanta.

Now if I go back to the city it's what I drive. No way will the Bronco go through there unless it is on the way to Florida.

I had a TC, it was a great car. I just think the XB is super ugly lol, I hate these little square cars.

I’m not familiar with dealer installed accessories. Don’t you have to pay the dealer to install once it gets there? I thought $295 was just for the material.
