Now that I have put some decent miles on it in regard to the trans relearn, even in Normal drive mode, the trans shifting is slightly noticeable on the good side, with rev matching downshifts no where near what sport mode does, but seems better IMO.
Odd, I'm very attuned to shifts. I've not noticed any changes in Normal mode.

I certainly have a long list of improvements that should be made to the trans SW.

For those who had a Ford Dealership or ASE tech perform the install, did you log in and create your own FP account first and give that info to the Dealership, or did the Dealership do everything?

thanks
yes, go create an account, download it to your module and then bring to your installer and they complete the rest, very easy.

FYI, Koons Sterling Ford in Sterling, VA will also do the install. They did the install on my Badlands, and it was 1 hour labor. I had the tune downloaded to the device, and told them that it was all ready to be installed.

Massive rip off, unless they have a 1 hour minimum charge. Since you did all of the work, they literally press about 3 screen clicks and wait 5 minutes.

Finally got mine installed today by a dealer, have not driving around much. Under normal driving not much notice but rolling about 30mph and hit it... it pulled hard. I am waiting to get an oasic report to confirm the tune actually installed :) (adviced by a member on here) not that i don't trust the dealer but just want to know. If anyone else know other way to find out pls comments

Just look at your boost numbers. If you’re making over ~22 psi, it’s definitely installed. A stock Braptor won’t make that.
I don’t know how fast it shows up on Oasis.

Yes, the same gauge reads both. As stated prior, you are definitely tuned.

I created my login account, looked for any updates, and did the copying of the stock base tune to the Procal. Then I downloaded the tune to the Procal. This way it was all set for the Tech to perform the actual installation of the tune (which is required to maintain drivetrain warranty).

Reading through some users comments, it's concerning one can't tell if the tune was loaded, or one needs to check the boost gauge. It makes it seem like the increases are not that noticeable other than better shifts.

On the the ProCal II it would tell you "tune successfully loaded!" when done. This latest ProCal does nothing of the sort. Would have been nice if it did.

Um, yeah - that was my thought as well. 😱

For me, the additional HP and especially the increase in TQ was immediately evident.

I do not recall a specific completion/success message on the ProCal, but the progress bar finished and the screen changed modes back to the one where you can pick from all of the various menus. No error messages. It was pretty obvious to me it succeeded. I don not quite understand some of the prior posts on this either... The power gain was pretty obvious as well. That said, the power bump is not huge, it is 9%. It doesn't knock you back in your seat. That is like 20%-30%+ IMHO.

When I installed the whipple tune, seat of the pants, there was no doubt it was tuned... very noticeable and it doesn't skip gears any more either. I should check the boost gauge out of curiosity.
