These numbers come out just as weā€™re dealing with the hacked Colonial pipeline thing? They couldnā€™t have released MPG data on free ice cream day to cushion the blow?

Actually with the 35's and the gearing 17 across the board is better than I thought. And showing the Jeep factory numbers paints a really lopsided picture. Throw 35s on them and then show me the mileage.

I do want to add in typical Ford fashion it makes no sense.

2.7L auto general: non-Sasquatch Badlands 18-20mpg

2.7L auto Badlands non- Sasquatch 17-18mpg

DOES ANYONE PROOFREAD ANYTHING?

seems bogus. example Sas all trims. 17 both HWY and City? How? I mean, I am cool with that but it makes no sense to me.
Higher speeds for vehicles like this are BRUTAL on highway mileage and the EPA test cycle no longer tests at 55-65 like it used to IIRC they test at 70ish.

Just for reference in my lifted jeep on 33ā€™s I get 19 at 65 and 15-16ish at 80

Yeah well those numbers kinda suck... Not like we will get them anytime soon anyways... Eh

Probably get better with a V8... But Ford didn't think we wanted that šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Exactly what I thought, 2-3 MPG hit each for the 2.7L or Sasquatch. A little surprised the BD robs 4 MPG off the 2.3L HWY number though. Sheesh. I may just keep the OEM tires on my BB.

I mean... the numbers aren't surprising. I was thinking about 16-18 and hoping for low 20's.

Like someone mentioned the gearing is what is the reason for the bad hwy MPG. You'll be in boost that whole time. Plus for the Badlands, its like 5k lbs, so....

Ironically you can put a bigger turbo on and not have boost until later in the RPM range, but then you're spending more money and adding complexity...for what?

Mileage is one thing. Range is another. With a 16.9 gallon tank, fuel stations will be welcome sights when traveling. Almost as bad as my Harley.

Bronco Nation could have done Ford a favor and posted Rubicon numbers at least:

And you all thought it would be 16.9MPG. šŸ˜‰ šŸ˜‚

I can take 17MPG, but it sure would have been nice to beat Jeep on the fuel economy numbers.

If these are the official imaginarily good numbers, I might be giving those old gas guzzling V8's a run for their money when I put my foot into the fun pedal.

At least it will have 400+ftlb of torque.
