Put 35" tires, and similar gears on the Jeeps then post their numbers.
Exactly! I have a 2012 Rubicon unlimited with 35's (3.6l Pentastar V6). I get 15 MPG. I'm quite happy with the 17 MPG I'll get with my Badlands/SAS considering that I also get far more horsepower AND far more torque. What's not to like about that?

Well, now I know what personalized plate to get:

GLURK

As in glurk, glurk, glurk is the sound it makes while guzzling the juice. 😄

Torque. Curve.
Over 250ftlbs from the 5.0L before 2,000RPM isn’t enough to move the Bronco? I mean that’s referencing the outgoing 5.0L at that, so it should be slightly higher now.

You can’t simultaneously want amazing fuel economy and the boosted engine, your better off with the natural aspirated option.

First few fill-ups will be a bit of a shock once I move on from the Outback! I’ve been mentally preparing for this, so all is well.

What's the devil in these details? Why are there two listed ratings for the same vehicle?

Ford Bronco Official MPG figures: 2021 Bronco 2.3L and 2.7L fuel economy 51CBC750-1635-4C21-AF2E-CF55C0124A5F
Exactly this. And no 2Dr/4Dr difference?

How do you get worse gas mileage on the highway? (2.3 auto Badlands) 😆😆😆

And so much for going with the smaller motor to save gas...
That's what makes me question the legitimacy of this Bronco Nation post. How can the 2.3L be 18/17 city/highway while the 2.7L be 17/18?

Looks like Im keeping my daily. Disappointed in the 2.3L hwy numbers. Was hoping for 23-24mpg. I really hope 6 gear isnt turning at 3000+ rpms at 75mph.

If I want MPG I'll just get in my Ram 2500 6.7 4x4 diesel with 375HP and 800 FP torque, gets 20 mpg highway at 70 all day. Weighs 8000+ pounds. It's faster, smoother, quieter than my JKUR. The Bronco will probably get better MPG when they put the 3.5 turbo in it. I'm in for that.

My Subaru outback range is like 600 miles. HAHA. almost double. I dont even think I've ever filled it up. I usually say "put $40 in it" since it lasts forever. Im cutting my hwy MPG in exactly half with a sas bronco....that's when you know it's gonna be badass

I'm looking at a 6 mpg increase , might have to ditch the muffler and put in a second tank tho LOL

So what's the wave when you pass a Bronco sitting alongside the highway with someone pouring gas in it ?
