My guess is because here we are 3+ months after the reveal and still NO B&P. And it's not like Ford or anyone has given us a date of B&P, therefor logic would probably tie the 2 together.
Logic would tie what two together?

Seeing how much a bike rack adds doesn't have much to do with reservations and model years.

I don't know. I just don't see why everyone thinks every single change, delay, or new information is because of a website.

What does that mean if your reservation is from September 18th exactly?

Time to call out the English majors again. "As of"

Details Ford... Details. Words have meaning.
If you reserved on Sept 18th, you'll get a 2022. It says the timestamp must be prior to Sept. 18th

Well now. It seems those that took Granger up on their offer have now "benefitted" from being confirmed as having reserved an MY22 Bronco. I'm fairly happy that has happened. Removes any possible, yet doubtful, "year 1 issues" and it also allows a year 1 price for a year 2 model.

Seems like a "win" in my book.

Is it fair to say that every MY 2021 Bronco built will go to fill a reservation? Will there be any dealer stock for MY21? What happens to the reservations that were made prior to September 18th, 2020 that do not get converted into an order? Do those go to dealer stock or to someone with a reservation after Sept 18th?
Only dealer stock for 2021 MY will be people who ordered, but did not take delivery. I guarantee you those few will be marked up. A lot.

I would be a little pissed if I placed a reservation on Sept 19, 2020 and MY2021s go to dealer stock instead of filling my reservation.

Looks official but not on Ford letterhead or watermark.

I still believe it... but then again I believe Kosmos too.

If they're not converted into an order, they don't exist and won't be built.

So if I make a reservation today, it's going to be a 2022 MY and delivered sometime in 2022?

So for guys that were waiting to hear about the Texas Volume Buy or the Granger Oct. deal just got screwed over?

“So we knew that we couldn’t fill all the reservations, but we continued taking them for a month in the hopes that this somehow could mean more sales for us and our dealer network.”

As I understand it:

MY2021 will be models:
1. reserved by September 18th and ordered.
2. Dealer Allocations

MY2022 will be models:
1. Reserved on/after September 19th and ordered.
2. Dealer allocations.

Right? They had this Oct. 31st deadline that people were working hard to meet to lock people in and then they retroactively apply it? They've been sitting on this news for a month.

So lets assume (rough numbers here) that Ford has the capacity to build 140000 Broncos between June and December. Now lets say that by their September 18th artificial MY21 cut off date they only have 100000 reservations converted to orders.... By your logic Ford would only build 100,000 Broncos (40000 below capacity) even though they have more orders converted after the Sept 18th MY21 cutoff date. Doesn't make sense. I know I am overthinking it but that is what we do here at Bronco6G!

The way that reads is that any reservation after September 18 will be a MY22 (or later if that year fills up I guess). It does not say anything about delivery though... so my assumption is that shortly after all of the MY21 reservations are filled, they will retool whatever is needed and move on to the MY22 builds and deliveries. Not knowing what the numbers look like, it is possible that could start in late 2021.
