We are always looking at it the wrong way. Ford has said your timestamp is your timestamp no matter if you move...but your res is one timestamp at one dealer...when it moves, that changes things. There is NOT one gigantic single file line of customers waiting for broncos...there are many lines at all the dealers across the country. The realities of delivering vehicles on a mass produced scale mean that we aren't single file...batches are built and delivered in the most economical way possible. It would be ludicrous to build each unit in reservation order and deliver it one by one...however, Ford does appear committed to making deliveries in "close as possible order" so when you switch, you move to a different line...even if you get your "place" in that new line. The question is the time stamp for all reservations or just at the dealer your reservation is placed at? If it's just at the dealer you placed it is where it could get tricky. You may have moved from a favorable place in line to a not so favorable spot.
