The pictures speak for themselves. This is a 2021 model year built after the major summer shut down last year for the Gen 1 top replacement. So this is the Gen 2 hard top and look what's happening. I took delivery in October of 2021. Had the dealership file a warranty claim this afternoon. I love my Bronco, I HOPE that this is a VERY isolated case. This is located long the seem above the lift gate, where the top meets the back panel.

My Gen 2 MIC is shit too. The replacement that I waited 4 months for was so terrible, the dealer called and said they are already ordering another because it’s garbage too. Back to waiting another 4 months for a replacement.

It’s due to the heat. All of the stuff holding everything together is coming apart. Happening on the soft tops too.
^Very good excuse to keep the Bronco in the garage; only space for one so roommate/baby momma gonna have to continue to park her car outside. I was using the excuse of vandalism, so this is just more justification.

Currently parked in the middle of the work parking lot with the sun beating down on my soft top. Glad I only work in the office a few days a week and the rest at home, with the Bronco inside the garage.
Ford will absolutely be replacing my soft top if it starts having issues though, my dealer and service guy are pretty good.

I would wait until v3 is released before filing a warranty claim. Your replacement top will not likely be any better.

I think I'd want the top to fail and be replaced while under warranty if there was any question.

I knew after I saw these in person they weren't going to last long or be much better than the original. I just don't know why it's so difficult to make a top. How long has Jeep been riding around with hardtops again?

I swear at this point with all of the soft and hard top problems I would only get a Bronco if I could keep it topless all the time. Which would mean I would need a garage and it would only be a secondary vehicle. Makes me more glad I just put my order in 99 status yesterday. I'm waiting it out for a while.
