Oh Sh!$ 2 Door Bronco with custom glass hardtop rolls over on trail

Just for additional context, the guy commented on FB that he was at MERUS adventure park here in Texas. He has little to no experience and was on either a black diamond or a double black diamond trail(Plus was not using a spotter). Previous to this rollover he had to be pulled out/rescued once already by a trail operator because he got stuck in a canyon or something. Which the big door scratch is from, not from laying on the side.

This is correct. I live close to this and watched the local Jeep guys claim this is all vehicle related. Then the driver and a few stated what all happened.
His top is the ATX panoramic one thats on this forum. Not 100% sure if its the same vehicle or not. Both that one and this one are black sas Badlands.

Just cause it is 4WD and it's is equipped with lockers... doesn't mean YOU can drive a 4WD with lockers on technical trails.

I'm curious what the weight difference is between the factory hardtop and this glass roof. Wondering if it added a few extra hundreds pounds to the top.

It certainly won't be the last one to get flipped.

While I haven't seen video and won't speak to this individuals capability, there will be plenty of wrecked Broncos due to inexperienced drivers thinking "goat" modes give them super powers.

We saw the same thing when the RS came out. Lots of wrecked cars, many with video evidence, thanks to people thinking drift mode made you a drift god.

Pretty much exactly why AMB had to be cancelled. Stunning flake at the macro level, undone by being "why are there two shades of black for the Bronco release?".


Still, could be worse. F150 had THREE shades of white and only three colors which weren't grayscale.
