I haven't owned a car with an antenna in the windshield in over 20 years. They have all been stubbies or integrated with the satellite antenna, cell antenna (shark fin).
Yeah, that's probably where mine have been as well. At any rate, I haven't had an antenna like the Bronco for a couple of decades, and then it was powered! LOL

In 2021 people also expect their radio to work...
They could always put it wherever they did in the 2013+ Escape. Ours pulls in pretty distant stations and HD radio. I have no idea where the antenna actually is, and that's a good thing.

Could tomorrow be blinker day?
I just need some notice when it's mudflap day or seatbelt adjuster (yay or nay poll) day.
Those topics are near and dear to my heart and very polarizing.

You can use it to cook hotdogs or marshmallows over an open fire.
I've used mine as a probe once, trying to see if there was a hole in the wall under a wooden deck, worked great! I actually kept it after I donated the car, might come in handy again :)

Sheesh, doesn’t almost every vehicle integrate the antenna into the glass now? This will be my first vehicle in 20 years with an antenna. :(
Really? All the six Fords I’ve owned since 2000 have had separate antennas. The three in my F150s I’ve replaced with the 13” stubbies and not noticed any signal dropoff...and I am away from the cities regularly and in the mountains.

The only reason I ask is because someone mentioned satellite radio and a cb. So would those things work without the antenna?
Satelite radio uses an entirely different style of antenna. It's the puck on the rear roll bar.

CB also uses a different type (length) of antenna. If you added a CB radio you would need to also add a CB antenna with it.

The standard whip antenna is only used for Am/Fm radio. The black puck on the vehicle is for GPS and XM radio. If you want to use a CB style radio you will need to install all of the aftermarket parts to make it work.

I plan on running a GMRS radio on my Bronco. The bandwidth and power output is around 50watts compared to a CB 4watts.

Antenna day continues, lol. We run a 1/4 wavelength 102" CB antenna for CB/Weatherband radio combo right rear fender , heavy 90 degree spring mount. Even black powder coated to match trim. Works awesome distances. No biggy, with tie down for park garages etc. Will be also trying a cell booster system and antenna as well, believe its a 48". When you're out in BFE your shits gotta work..........(102'' on closest vehicle)
Well there's 2 of my aux-switches used.
