One thing that did catch my eye from TMS last weekend - 4.0 mpg?

Those Broncos were running wide open and then sitting with the engine running between sessions all day for 3 days. No surprise that they weren't getting any mileage. On another note, I was stoked to finally get to sit in one. I'm 6'6" with long torso and I actually fit with no headroom issues. That is what I have been waiting to find out.

I’m sure being in 4WD and having the piss driven out of this preproduction badlands all weekend - this 4.0mpg might just be accurate. I guess you can factor in the AC and 102 Texas heat into the equation as well.
Without knowing when the fuel economy calculator was reset and what type of driving has been done since, this number means absolutely ZERO!

1st gear, in low range, with deep axle gearing. How many times does the engine spin to get 1 tire rotation?
Off road fuel economy sucks. Is what it is.
