No fluff here just the facts. This rig is too fun to drive versus my previous Wrangler 4xe & FJ Cruiser.

I have a 2.7 4dr Black Diamond Sasquatch and this is my real world MPG. I drive in Normal Mode and don’t baby it. At the same time I’m not driving it like I stole it either.
On the freeway once a weekend I cruise at a cool 70-75.

👉🏼 My MPG averages 13.4 👈🏼

🧐 What is your real world MPG?

Very little highway driving here, mostly rural roads and city on top of wheeling and hunting excursions. I normally keep the little 4cyl wound up 3k rpm range or more. Hand calculated just a hair over 17mpg.

2022 Wildtrak - so 2.7 and sasquatch. I averaged 15.4 over my last 3000 miles with mixed driving, mostly city. 90% of that is normal mode. Stock Goodyears - set at 40 psi. I do watch my tire pressure pretty closely FWIW.

21 Sasquatch with the 2.7. This isn't all my mileage I didn't start tracking it when I first got it I have put about 15,000 miles total on it. Most of these miles have been in the city. I have taken two short road trips but my last one was in 30mph winds and I got 13.5 mpg lol.

Appreciate the candid responses. I kind of figured I wasn’t too far off base with my MPG.

Buying this rig, MPG wasn’t even a consideration. lol

16.8-17.8 here in Texas, daily driver for mild city and country roads with few stops in the country. Most stops in city traffic.
Have noticed a good balance of just cruising in eco mode in heavy city traffic vs normal; just because no need for heavy throttle.

Good to know. I’m using premium fuel but don’t have the FP Tune. Yet.
With my driving style and the shift point change on my squatched BL 2.7 it helped by around 1 mpg.
I will tell you.. Loaded for a vacation at 90mph the gearing keeps it in the band too much to conserve fuel.

30k, probably 2/3rds highway, up until 24k I had stock Sas GY's and got ~17mpg. A lot of it had to do with staying below 70mpg (55mph probably 19-20mpg).

Once I got my 20lbs heavier (real) M/T's at 24k, it dropped 2-3mpg. I'm a lot more cognizant of tire ifnlation; at 38psi, I can get 17mpg on the highway, but 14mpg city. At 34psi, it drops to 13/16mpg. Lower, about 1mpg per psi. 32psi was pretty horrid around town (10-11psi), probably because they're heavier to start off the line.

Almost 40k miles over here, average of 16 but that's come down from 17 over the past 2-3 months after getting new tires (Wildpeak AT4W @ 33 psi) and the FP tune. I'm assuming that current MPG is closer to mid 14s since the tires are so heavy

Do you have any mods yet? Cat-back exhaust helps free up the flow pretty good and then intercooler, charge pipes and intake also help but that's opening up a can of worms. ;) Most of my driving is local short drives where it barely has time to warm up and I've done the 3" cat-back, FP tune, Corsa intake, Mishimoto intercooler and charge pipes and recently went to 37's, so I don't have a good base yet to go off of. But for a solid year with just the cat-back I averaged around 17.8 mpg in a 2 door base Sas with 35" KM3 tires. I did most of the mods in the last 2 months and with the really cold temps and winter gas it still looks like it's over 16 for these 2 months. I did some pretty spirited driving to check out how the mods felt and this truck feels so much better the way it is now. I just wish it wouldn't get so cold in the winter! :cwl:

2.3, 4 door, sasquatch getting between 16.5-17.5 driving nearly all city miles. I live in Minnesota and use the remote start religiously which probably impacts the MPG...but I am really unsure.

I'm glad you said this, I always let RPM drop to 800 before moving.
