Averaged 15.5 MPG since purchase about 9,000 miles ago using 87 octane gas. 2.7L, 4-door, Sasquatch. Mostly city, some interstate, some off roading. No fluff here just the facts. This rig is too fun to drive versus my previous Wrangler 4xe & FJ Cruiser.
I have a 2.7 4dr Black Diamond Sasquatch and this is my real world MPG. I drive in Normal Mode and don’t baby it. At the same time I’m not driving it like I stole it either.
On the freeway once a weekend I cruise at a cool 70-75.
My MPG averages 13.4
What is your real world MPG?

must have gotten the ticket for going below the flow of traffic in the slow lane2.7 Sasquatch. Mostly city, some interstate, some off roading. Has averaged 15.5 miles per gallon since purchase about 9,000 miles ago.
Apparently I drive 86 MPH on highways. At least that's what Officer Canon wrote on my speeding ticket yesterday.

I don’t drive like a mad man but I don’t baby it either. On the highway I’ll do 65 to 70Impressive. You’re at the higher percentile.
I really think maintaining 65 to 70 on the freeway is the key to adding to MPG. Not that I’m closely monitoring it but just trying to see where the threshold is at.I don’t drive like a mad man but I don’t baby it either. On the highway I’ll do 65 to 70
When I first got the bronco, I stayed out of boost for the first thousand miles. You definitely have more self-control than I do because I’m constantly in boost. After reading these post, I am more conscious about staying out of boost at a stop sign or a stoplight.2023 2.7L OBX stock non-SAS daily driver in NorCal with about 15K so far, of which roughly 5k of long road trips. Current average MPG is 19.5 on Costco gas, or Chevron when on trips. I have the LUX Pack and switch to eco mode more often than not. I am also one to keep my foot out of the boost and RPMs at 2K or less 75 % of the time. This suits my driving situation in our local traffic.
That said, I am very fond of the SPORT setting. Vroom Vroom!
Yes, I think the sweet spot is right around 67-68, just make sure you're in the right lane.I really think maintaining 65 to 70 on the freeway is the key to adding to MPG. Not that I’m closely monitoring it but just trying to see where the threshold is at.
