Has anyone else been noticing the "NO STEP" embossed on the back of the center consoles? I would have never thought about standing on my center console, but now Ford has put that thought into my head and now I desperately feel the need to let somebody else drive so I can stand on the center console with the top off and half my body above the roofline with the wind in my hair.

Don't do it, don't do it...
Dang it, I told you not to step there. Now look what you've done! ??

Didn't know that. Probably for the better considering the washout floors no matter what they do to direct excessive water away from the vents.

Too bad for folks who will regularly carry rear passengers though. I understand their disappointment.
All the fuss about rear vents? Seriously! I've owned cars with and without rear vents and it doesn't make any difference. In the small space of a car it cools/warms well enough. If it become necessary remove or work on the dash, rear vents are a big pain! Sometimes you have to remove the whole thing. NO REAR VENTS PLEASE!

Not easy from what I'm hearing. Wrench required.

If I wanted to let a fifth person ride in my Bronco, I would get a 4-door.?
Good point, by this logic, they could get rid of the shifter and cupholder in the front and have push buttons like a Lincoln and offer bench seating and a capacity for 6.

The grey center console would make sense if the seats were 2 tone with the same grey on the interior of the seat.

I saw a video of someone getting in one and they said the same thing. Id bet the biggest complaint is actually the process of getting back there. I cant imagine it being any worse than my 73 that i have lol.

Does anyone know if the bottom rear seats can be removed? And if so, will it fold flat with the back seats down?

I cant think of very many vehicles that i've ridden in where the rear vents actually do something. The ones that actually worked worth a crap were in some really expensive suvs and what not.

The hinges for the vertical portion of the rear seats sit on the rear floor, so while they fold flat, they will always lay proud of the rear load floor.

I'm 5'5".

Anyone know if I will fit in this thing?
As someone who is 6'4", I would assume the answer to your question is always "yes". What don't you fit in? A hotwheels car?

If that was a typo, and you are actually 6'5", then I am also interested.

I'm also interested in pedal spacing, because when wearing size 14 boots driving my manual cars has always been a delicate proposition. I'd love it if they spaced the clutch, brake, and gas far enough apart that it's easy to drive with big boots on.

Thank you for sharing this!! This is exactly what I was worried about. Like the wrangler, the width is very tight. The door smashes up against the driver seat and driver. ugh
