Had that harness adapter been available (or I could find it) back when I did my lights, that would have worked; and at a sale price of $34 v. the other wire harness for $50 I would have done it.
It's funny how I (we?) price the value of things, $34 v $50 for a wiring fix, but I bought that beer last night to watch the game!
At least it's done, with the new lid.
I really like the whole grommet way Brian did it too, just as good as the Mabett option, spray wise, great job Brian. I miss having an actual garage with all the good stuff and tools to do stuff like that, but then there's Mabett... hahah.
