@ORACLE Lighting , what's the word? Are you now going to move forward and manufacture heated lenses for the Bronco like you do for the Wranglers and Gladiators? You've stated that it would be pretty easy.....Let's get the ball rolling!!!!!!!!

They are $629 for the Wranglers and Gladiators......Keep the same pricing and I'm ready to buy right now!!!!!!!
I know you didn't get a response on here but have you heard anything?

@ORACLE Lighting

I have heard absolutely nothing. My guess is that they do not intend on supporting the Bronco with the same products as they do for the Wrangler based platforms. Even though they have specifically said that it would be easy to produce and then started to back off from that over time 🤷‍♂️

I think we are just SOL, unfortunately….

Winter is coming and we will yet again have no options to keep ice from building up on our headlights while driving…..If only there were a company that already has this technology that could “easily adapt” it to the headlights for the Bronco 🤣🤪

Interesting idea - I'm actually somewhat surprised heated headlights aren't an OEM option on vehicles. Maybe it is on some luxury vehicles? I've never seen it though.

I live where we have snow primarily; less ice. But when driving through the mountains and such this becomes a big issue. Factor in very little to no street lights on these highway passes and little vehicle traffic during snowy Wintery conditions at night, and it's dangerous. The below picture is of my Bronco after driving through these mountain passes last Winter. The headlights (and AUX lights) aren't covered in dirt - It's ice.

I still don't think I'd be interested in these aftermarket lights, but I do think it's a good idea and folks will definitely be interested in them. For me, the AUX lights I have in the bumper pockets are extremely bright, so even with some ice on them they still function... Headlights, not as much.

I wonder if spraying some de-icing agent on the headlights would have helped.

Thank you for reviving this thread as our R&D team is currently working on this project and how we can meet the needs of this segment. We should have some news in the near future about the design and availability.

Reviving!

Just found this thread. Last Thursday evening we drove north on I25 to Colorado Springs in a heavy snow/ice storm. Had to stop and knock about 1/4 inch of ice off the headlights. The lights basically became useless! So definite safety issue here in Colorado. Definitely interested in buying.

Any update from Oracle?

Any other manufacturer have a heated lens out by now?

Thanks for reviving this and offering your opinion. I know we have heated lenses for other vehicles. There are prototypes in the works. Thank you for chiming in and I'll pass this along to our team.

PS, we need heated headlights too in the northeast.

Get me some prototypes and I’ll test them for you! “Colorado Approved” will look good on the packaging! LOL

I’m just outside of Buffalo, NY and have been pushing and asking for these with you guys for a while now. So +1 for me and I’ll definitely give feedback 😁

Unless one lives in a very snowy area the cost of entry into a heated headlight is pretty steep, ($650 + install not everyone is capable of self install) especially based on how many times it would get used. That doesn’t take in to account longevity or length of the product or warranty. It has to match OE warranty or it becomes even more expensive.
