Would anyone be willing to let me know what "COV" means in a Ford Order Guide?

The order guide is old, 2018, but doesn't seem to match a technical item.

It is a fleet Order Guide.

Can you take a screen capture or provide some more context?

I just checked my stuff:

It stands for Certificate of Origin for the Vehicle.

Ford Bronco Order guide - "COV" F3CB3E63-0A26-4055-8150-383A1061B2AC

Googling those terms should tell you the rest of what you want to know.

It’s the document the manufacturer supplies to prove relevant info and ownership... once the vehicle is registered with a state it will be assigned a Title in its place.

Basically it’s a title before the title is issued.

I didn't know if it meant a certificate of law enforcement member or something. Kind of like "Yes, this person is legit to sell to". None of the specs chosen provide any special LEO capability (if anyone was going to further investigate 😉).

Nice work. This is why they pay you the big bucks here.

Nope. Usually the check is when it comes time to spend the money... the department would provide their public agency’s tax exempt paperwork.

In reality fleet sales are kind of give-and-take... you might be able to spec a heavier duty alternator or trans cooler... but you also don’t even get an AUX input on your AM/FM radio.

If you’re really cush you can sometimes spec an “admin” package, that comes with the nicer materials and trim, but then you miss out on the upgraded drivetrain and electrical stuff.

For the Bronco?

Yes.
Wow, thanks I've got some reading to do. I see my personal obsession, no FAD on a 4.27 Big Bend, remains.
