I have what I think is an odd issue and wanted to see if a) anyone else had the same thing happen and b) any recommendations.
June 2021 reservation that I converted to an order on 10/15/21 (online). Both reservation and order payments accepted and email back from Ford. I have an order number and confirmed for an Off Rodeo next month. Here is where it gets strange. In early December ('21), my dealer rep texts and calls me and says that Ford needs me to "push" my order and confirm with them by why of either a phone call or email; he said he never heard of this. After being put on hold, I used the email address. A week later Ford replies that this was an internal Ford email and go through my dealer. On the webpage, upon login, my "place order" status shows as "pending", but again, I have an order number. My dealer rep can see my order in the system, but clearly something is not right as he cannot see other information he can see in other orders. He says he has talked to the regional rep and some other folks at Ford, but it now has been over four months, and this is still the case. I call or visit the rep every 2-3 weeks. I called the Ford customer number that is on a number of the 6G forums, but they cannot give me additional info as they could not see certain info.
The long and short of this is that I just want to get this fixed: I don't want to have another issue with my order above and beyond all the other things going south with orders.
Any one have a similar experience? Any thoughts as to other avenues? You would think they could just reenter my order with the correct priority and payment info so I maintain my place in the queue, such as it is...
