No clue what current wait times are but did you do a search in your area? Lots on the lots now with good incentives and even some '23s out there with allot of money off so you could probably upgrade quite a bit at the same cost.
I think the rear locker (with 4.27 gearing), for $800 is a no brainer, even if you are not considering increasing tire size, but it must if doing so.
You couldn’t have ordered on 7/20/2020 as that was just 7 days past the rollout intro of the Bronco. The actual order banks opened on or around Jan 19, 2021 when I ordered mine and ultimately took possession on Dec 11, 2021. The email from Ford announcing the order banks opening came on Jan 15, 2021.
Funny, the Canadian version of that production note is not even scheduling Broncos at all according to my dealer. I've been on order since 6/26.
oooff that’s tough sorry to hear! There are a lot of Broncos on dealer lots these days going for under MSRP so maybe something to consider? Either way, good luck!
It's possible you will get moved into a 2025. I think it was around this time last year when 2024 models were announced and order banks opened in August. Maybe 2025 will be announced a little later this year due to more changes than past years if the rumours are true about some possible change (new 2.3L engine, LCD gauge cluster).
I locked in when Ford was offering 1% interest, so if I do get moved to 2025, that at least won't change (hopefully). If anything, my dealer is guessing my order may end up on one of the last 2024 runs. Could be sooner rather than later because they let me know that the order status was slightly different than the last time they checked.
Unfortunately none of the lot ordered Eruption Green non-Sas in my area were optioned with the locker, and the Sas is overkill for my needs. Would have gone for it if someone had one, and I did not want to settle on a different colour if they did.
