Ordering My First Edition

[Waiting 4 Years]

I'm planning on ordering my FE this Saturday, 2.27. I've been waiting until now because I've been trying to get info from my dealership. It's a very small dealership that doesn't have a Bronco specialist. He has only a few other Bronco sales.

I now know that if I wait for late availably I will be able to get the black painted roof and black interior. YAY!!! I'm not 100% decided on exterior color yet.

My questions are...
Is there be some reason to wait until 3.19 to order? Will something else magically appear as a late availability option and I'll miss out if I order now?

What should I be expecting from my dealer when I place the order? An agreed upon price in writing for when the Bronco comes in?

We just bought a new F150 at this dealer and are picking it up on 2.27. We ended up getting a great deal but we had to work really hard to get it. The salesman fought us at every turn. I'm thinking that ordering the Bronco when we pick up the truck may be my best leverage for good pricing. I'm afraid that he is really going to beat us up on the Bronco price. Should I be expecting to pay invoice with no room for movement? What have been some of your dealer pricing experiences?

The modular painted roof and the black interior for the FE should be in the dealer guide, so that they can place your order now. Nothing magical about March 19 other than that is the deadline that Ford established. There is supposed to be a large update to the B&P in March, but that's not expected to happen until after the 19th.

You can still make changes to your order with your dealer up until Ford issues a VIN # for your build.

Good to know about the VIN number, I thought that I would be locked in. Will the B&P be changing things for the MY21 people?
