Outer Banks Tire and Wheel Options

I was late to the game with an April 2021 reservation for a 2 door Badlands. I choose that model because I like the look of the standard 33s and I want the Lux package. I'm not interested in the Sasquatch package, as this will be a daily driver for me and rarely taken off-road. So, I began to think that the Outer Banks might be a better choice for my needs and somewhat cheaper. The standard wheels are OK, but I would prefer bigger tires. Any suggestions on a beefier tire size that would fit on the standard OB rims? I realize I could buy aftermarket rims, too, but I want to avoid that expense, if possible.

with the outer banks, you are have 18x7.5 wheels and are already looking at a 32 inch tall tire. a 255mm tire has a 10 inch tread width. i am not sure how much larger tire you might be looking for, but i am sure any tire retailer would be willing to sell you some larger tires. just not sure what are the gains you are looking for.

There was a BB and OBX in those pics with 285s. That's more the size I'm looking for. Thanks for sharing that link. I'm still finding my way around on here
