G'day, Looking for insight on potential wheel/tire combinations the would fit a four door Outer Banks in Rapid Red. Couple of pieces of information, I'm 67 years old and not planning on hard core off roading. Most use
would be for a daily driver in New England and occasional beach overland for surf casting. I have little
background with modifying trucks other than adding white spoke rims and Desert Dogs to a CJ-5 back
in the day. That said I like what I do and want to look good doing it. For me the Outer Banks suits me but
I'm not in love with the wheel/tire offerings. My question for the forum is will the combination of
17" Method 305s with either Goodrich KO2 265/70R17, or 275/70 R17 fit the Outer Banks?

Reviving this. Just to be clear the stock wheel have a +55 offset, which probably squashes your day dreaming. 6.4" back spacing on a 7.5" wheel. I personally would love to get method 305s, but they would stick out 2.65" beyond the face of the stock wheel. Besides how ridiculous that would look, i dont even think i could comfortably pull into my driveway adding 6" to the width of the Bronco. The only way is to find a 8" wide, not 8.5" wide with 25-35mm offset, to minimize the poke. But there's only maybe 50 wheels on tirerack that fit that. I am learning to live with E load tires to keep the stock OBX rims and go to 275/70/18 which only come in E. Anyone find decent looking 17in wheels with high offsets?

You might as well purchase the wheel options from Ford - I know it is not offered as part of your build - but perhaps look at the Ranger wheels or Bronco wheels at the parts desk. I think the optional Black Diamond wheels on the Outer Banks would be good.

The Ranger Raptor wheel is amazing. But its 55 offset applied to a 8.5" wide wheel, which means its 1" closer to the spindle and wont work. So if most Ford wheels in this bolt pattern are 55 offset, you have no choice but to go to 7.5"-8.0" wide wheel with a relatively flat face. In which case, I think I'd prefer an aftermarket in 25-35 offset, some concavity and a 1" poke....or get the cushiest E load tires on stock rims. Circling Cooper AT3 XLT

Thank you for your insight. Not having any experience with wheel dimensions
and their implications your right tires having out 6 inches is not a good look.
That said dreams die hard. In looking at the Method web site did come across
these 703s They do make it with a 17x7.5, +50 just not the 6x5.5 bolt pattern.
If, big if, they did make the 6x5.5 bolt pattern do you think these wheels would
work on the Outer Banks?

Well if they dont make it, they dont make it.

If you want to search wheels, list your vehicle as a 2020 Ranger (websites dont have the bronco loaded yet) - it will get you the bolt pattern you need. Then sort by 17 dia, 8.0" wide and offsets greater than 25mm. Its a small pond, but those are your wheel options.. And youll still have a little bit of poke, but in a good way. I am seeing a lot of options on tirerack from Sport Terrain. I personally like the K10s. I think they also have a Black Rhino Stadium in 35mm offset in our bolt pattern which looks just like method 703.

Anyone know whether the Sasquatch wheels (with light silver ring) will be offered on a 33" tire?

I haven't seen the option offered by Ford, but I plan to go 285/70's one way or the other.
